Is this the end...or the just the beginning?

My favorite discovery was the wiki. I never knew Wikipedia was actually a wiki. I love the idea of something constantly revolving, be updated, and changed. Podcasting directories were interesting as well.

Regarding Technology Tapas: I felt as though there was too much information presented and not enough time spent on each topic. It may be wise to reduce the course content and add more time to discover some good topics.

On the whole, I liked the course and would do it again. Thank you for the opportunity. I especially liked the MP3 player as the incentive and reward.

Podcast Directories

I found a wealth of information. Any topic had mutiple podcasts. I did find and subscribed to an interesting podcast called Library Geeks speaking about libraries.

I did like both Podcast directories.

YouTube

What I liked about YouTube was the amount of information and entertainment available. What I disliked was the search capabilities.

And finally, YouTube could be a great training tool for libraries.

Flickr

Here is an interesting image I saw on Flickr. It is a picture of a lighthouse from the beach with waves crashing on the rocks. I am not sure if it is day or night.

PBWiki

It was easy to register and access PBWiki. The potential is endless.

I did have a problem adding my blog name to the favorite blogs page. My blog did not appear as a link.

Wiki

The amount of information a wiki provides is unmeasurable. In addition, I like the fact that it is collaborative and forever being updated and changed. I use Wikipedia all the time.

A wiki could be useful for a library event. It would allow anyone involved to update and add information.

Web 2.0 Awards Winners

I selected and tried two music category entries. I investigated Last and Pandora. The music categories, music samples, and reviews were impressive.
